Dusky orange puff-ball

Notes

Fruiting body: To 50 mm, deep orange with short granular spines, club shaped and creased with a broad and rounded, white stem base.

Spore print: White as seen on these specimens. Judging by the spore deposit placement, erect specimens may forcibly eject spores before beginning to collapse.

Found: On a long dead myrtle beech log in deep rainforest.
