Dear Teacher / Parent 1 – 7 September is National Arbor Week in South Africa. The purpose of Arbor week is to promote awareness for the need to plant and maintain indigenous trees throughout the country. Here is a poster that you can use to teach children about the importance of trees in our lives. You can use the information below to talk about the importance of trees with your learners. The poster can be downloaded for free. All we ask in return is that you send us a photo of the learners and/or teacher with the poster. We would love to see how you use the poster in the class.
